The Pre-Event Drip.

Hydration, B vitamins, magnesium, and a full electrolyte mix, designed to be done the day before the day that matters: weddings, races, galas, launches, and long-haul flights.

Why It Works

Big days are endurance events. Prep like it.

Think about what a wedding day or race day actually asks of you: hours on your feet, adrenaline, sun, less water than you think, and usually less sleep than you planned. Most people walk into their biggest days already running a hydration deficit, then wonder why they hit a wall by evening.

The Pre-Event drip banks your reserves the day before. A full hydration base tops up fluid volume, electrolytes give that fluid something to hold onto, magnesium supports the muscle and nerve function you will be leaning on, and B vitamins support energy metabolism through a long day.

The timing is the trick: booking it the day before lets everything settle into your system so you start the big day full instead of catching up. It is the same logic athletes use, applied to aisles, stages, and start lines.

What is in It

The Pre-Event formula.

Every component is pharmacy-sourced, mixed into sterile fluids, and adjusted by your nurse after a quick screening.

Hydration Base

Sterile fluids

A full fluid foundation so you start your event topped up rather than already behind.

Electrolyte Mix

Standard IV dose

Sodium and companion electrolytes that make hydration hold through a long, active day.

Magnesium

Standard IV dose

Supports the muscle and nerve function a marathon day demands, whether the marathon involves running shoes or heels.

B-Complex

Multi-B blend

Energy-metabolism support for a day that will not include sitting down.

Who It Is For

When clients book Pre-Event.

  • Brides, grooms, and wedding parties, the day before
  • Race week: marathons, triathlons, tournaments
  • Galas, launches, and stage appearances
  • Long-haul flights and travel days
  • Festival weekends, on the front end this time
  • Group bookings, we bring nurses for the whole party
What to Expect

Your Pre-Event visit.

Step 1

Quick intake

Your nurse reviews your health history, current medications, and any concerns. This is a five-minute conversation, not paperwork.

Step 2

The IV start

A small IV catheter goes in, typically in the back of the hand or forearm. Most clients describe it as a brief pinch.

Step 3

The drip

The bag runs at a comfortable pace. You can rest, work, watch TV, or close your eyes. Your nurse stays the whole time.

Step 4

The finish

IV out, small pressure dressing on, and the day is yours again.

Important

Who should not get this drip.

IV therapy is generally well-tolerated, but it is not appropriate for everyone. We screen every client and decline service when that is the safer call.

  • Pregnancy, without OB approval
  • Active heart, kidney, or liver disease
  • Known allergy to any component
  • Recent serious medical event without clearance
  • Children under 18, without pediatrician approval
Honesty first. IV drips support hydration and wellness. They do not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease, and if your situation calls for a physician instead of a drip, your nurse will say so.
Questions

Pre-Event, answered.

When exactly should I schedule it?

The day before your event is ideal, and the morning of a two-day gap also works. Day-of booking gets tight with hair, makeup, and logistics, so we recommend keeping event day clear.

Does this help with race performance?

It helps you start properly hydrated with electrolytes and magnesium on board, which is a real advantage. It is preparation support, not a performance enhancer, and it will not replace your training.

Can our whole wedding party book together?

Yes, group bookings are one of our favorite visits. We bring enough nurses for the group and drip everyone together, robes and playlists welcome.

Do you come to my area?

Yes. WholeHealth Hydration is a mobile service covering Orange County, Los Angeles, Riverside, and San Bernardino counties. Same-day slots are most common in coastal Orange County, and a small travel fee may apply depending on distance.

What about the morning after the event?

That is a different bag: the Hangover Recovery drip exists for exactly that morning, and plenty of wedding parties book both ends of the weekend.
