Iron Boost.

A true clinical infusion: IV iron sucrose for clients with lab-confirmed iron deficiency, physician-reviewed before every appointment. This one starts with your bloodwork, not a booking button.

Start With a Consultation
How It Works

Iron is different, and we treat it that way.

Iron is not a vitamin drip. Too little leaves you exhausted, breathless on stairs, and pale; too much is genuinely harmful, which is why we require recent labs showing iron deficiency before this infusion is ever scheduled, and why our medical director reviews every case first.

For clients who qualify, IV iron matters because oral iron is famously hard: it absorbs poorly, upsets stomachs, and takes months. An IV infusion delivers iron sucrose directly, bypassing the gut entirely, which is why physicians order it for patients who cannot tolerate or absorb tablets.

The process is simple. Book a consultation, share recent labs or let us point you to where to get them, our medical director reviews, and only then does the infusion get scheduled. If your labs do not support it, we will tell you plainly and point you back to your physician.

What is in It

The Iron Boost formula.

Every component is pharmacy-sourced, mixed into sterile fluids, and adjusted by your nurse after a quick screening.

Iron Sucrose

Physician-determined dose

A well-established IV iron preparation, dosed by our medical director based on your labs and history.

Sterile Fluids

Saline base

The carrier for a slow, comfortable infusion, with your nurse monitoring throughout.

Required First: Labs

Recent bloodwork

Ferritin and related markers confirming iron deficiency. We will request these before anything is scheduled, no exceptions.

The order of operations. Consultation, labs, physician review, then infusion. If any step says IV iron is not right for you, we stop there and tell you why.
Who It Is For

Who Iron Boost exists for.

  • Lab-confirmed iron deficiency, per your bloodwork
  • Clients who cannot tolerate oral iron supplements
  • Heavy training loads with documented low ferritin
  • Post-physician referral for iron repletion
  • Menstruating clients with confirmed chronic low iron
  • Anyone told by a doctor that IV iron is appropriate
What to Expect

Your Iron Boost visit.

Step 1

Quick intake

Your nurse reviews your health history, current medications, and any concerns. This is a five-minute conversation, not paperwork.

Step 2

The IV start

A small IV catheter goes in, typically in the back of the hand or forearm. Most clients describe it as a brief pinch.

Step 3

The drip

The bag runs at a comfortable pace. You can rest, work, watch TV, or close your eyes. Your nurse stays the whole time.

Step 4

The finish

IV out, small pressure dressing on, and the day is yours again.

Important

Who should not get this drip.

IV therapy is generally well-tolerated, but it is not appropriate for everyone. We screen every client and decline service when that is the safer call.

  • Anyone without lab-confirmed iron deficiency
  • Hemochromatosis or any iron overload disorder
  • Active infection, until it has resolved
  • Prior serious reaction to IV iron
  • Pregnancy, without OB involvement
  • Children under 18
Honesty first. IV drips support hydration and wellness. They do not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease, and if your situation calls for a physician instead of a drip, your nurse will say so.
Questions

Iron Boost, answered.

Why do you require bloodwork?

Because iron overload is as real a problem as iron deficiency, and giving IV iron to someone who does not need it is harmful. Recent labs showing deficiency are non-negotiable, and that policy is for your safety, not our paperwork.

What if I do not have recent labs?

Book the consultation anyway. We will tell you exactly which markers to ask your physician for, or point you to convenient local lab options across the area, then review the results when they are in.

How is this different from your other drips?

Every other bag on our menu is wellness support. Iron Boost is a clinical infusion with a prescription medication, physician review, and lab requirements, and we hold it to that standard on purpose.

Do you come to my area?

Yes. WholeHealth Hydration is a mobile service covering Orange County, Los Angeles, Riverside, and San Bernardino counties. Same-day slots are most common in coastal Orange County, and a small travel fee may apply depending on distance.

How many infusions will I need?

That depends entirely on your labs and our medical director's assessment. Some clients need one, others a short series with follow-up bloodwork. You will get a straight answer at your consultation, not a sales pitch.
